RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist and the term for a certain position will soon expire
on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Shana Morgan to said board as the At -Large Representative, with a term to expire July 31, 2025;
to reassign Elijah Hatch on said board from the At -Large Representative to the Advisory Board
District 4 Representative, with a term to expire July 31, 2024; and to reappoint Pamela Edens to
said board as the Advisory Board District 6 Representative, with a term to expire July 31, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Shana Morgan and Elijah Hatch, be, and hereby are, appointed, and
Pamela Edens, be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Planning Commission, all with terms to
expire as listed above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of July, A.D., 2022.
