RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD AT PROBABLE CAUSE HEARING, PCSC22-0011,
CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR18-0065 - WASTE
MANAGEMENT DISPOSAL SERVICES OF COLORADO, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a Probable Cause Hearing to
consider setting a Show Cause Hearing to determine whether or not Waste Management Disposal
Services of Colorado, Inc., 40000 County Road 25, Ault, Colorado 80610, was in compliance with
certain Development Standards contained in Use by Special Review Permit, USR18-0065, for a
Solid Waste Disposal Site and Facilities, in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following
described real estate, to -wit:
Part of the E1/2 of Section 7, and Lot B of Recorded
Exemption, RECX17-0150; being part of the NW1/4
of Section 7, Township 7 North, Range 66 West of
the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and,
having been fully informed, finds that the matter should be continued to August 31, 2022, at
9:00 a.m., to allow Waste Management Disposal Services of Colorado, Inc., adequate time to
gain compliance with certain Development Standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to August 31,
2022, at 9:00 a.m.
