The Weld County Board of Health met on November 22, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in the second -floor
hearing room of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment and by via
Microsoft Teams.
Those present included:
Board Members: Tom Cope, Doug Printz, Fred Hepner, Jeff Reck, Linda Kautz, and Bree Lukens.
Others: Lauren Light from Environmental Health and Andrew Glendenning gave a presentation on
the Emergency Preparedness.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM. A motion was made by Tom Cope to approve the agenda.
Doug Printz seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The board approved the minutes of the October 25, 2022, meeting. A motion was made to approve by
Fred Hepner and Tom Cope seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously.
Biosolid New:
Denali Water Solutions- DS -2200001- CR 11 & CR 6- This was tabled for November and
moved to our January 2023 meeting because Applicant didn't post the signs to let the neighbors know
that they would be spreading biosolids.

Biosolids Renewal:
Denali Water Solutions — Lauren Light presented 21 biosolid renewal applications. No public
comment or concerns were received. Environmental Health recommends approval.
DS -990031, DS -200108, DS -200114, DS -200434, DS -200444, DS -200606, DS -200630, DS -200631, DS -
200632, DS -200633, DS -200634, DS -200809, DS -200832, DS -200833, DS -201113, DS -201212, DS -
1700011, DS -1700012, DS -1700013, DS -2000003, DS -2000004, DS -2000005 and DS -2000006.
A motion was made by Fred Hepner to approval the renewals. Bree Lukens seconded the motion and
the motion was carried unanimously.
Presentations:
Andrew Glendenning — Emergency Preparedness Specialist
We have 6 employees in our department. Our goal is to protect the people in Weld County and
other agencies.
We are grant funded for drive-thru vaccine clinics and provide masks and gowns for our local
shelters. We also provide eye glasses and breathing machine when needed.
Staff Discussion:
We are currently doing interviews for our EH Director position. We should have someone hired by
middle of January.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:22 am. Next meeting is January 23, 2023.
