Extended/Double/Super Cab Pickups with 6.5 Foot Bed
(Qty 2)

The Fleet Services Department has received information from Ken Garff Ford of Greeley that Ford
can no longer build the two 1/2 ton four-wheel drive extended cab pickups trucks for Bid
#B2200008. The factory has canceled all remaining 2022 orders citing supply chain issues. The
purchase order for these vehicles was issued by the Purchasing Department on 01/31/2022
(P2200086) in the amount of $66,886.00.
This was discussed at a work session on 11/08/22. Fleet Services recommends rescinding this bid
and that the purchase order be canceled. We will proceed with state bid or other government
competitive pricing to supply the remaining vehicles.

The Fleet Services Department has reviewed all bids that were received and
recommends awarding the bid to Ken Garff Ford of Greeley, as they are the lowest bidder that
meets all specifications. The bid is for 2022 Ford 1/2 ton extended cab 4X4 pickup with 6.5 -foot
beds. The cost is $33,443.00 each for a total of $66,886.00.
