(CDBG) 2022-2023 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
A public hearing was conducted on February 28, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Scott K. James, Chair

Commissioner Perry L. Buck
Commissioner Steve Moreno
Commissioner Lori Saine
Also present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 11, 2022, and duly published
February 13, 2022, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to review the needs
to be addressed in the 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan, which are to be submitted to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in order to receive Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement funds, and said plan will identity the needs of the
community and develop a strategy to address the needs of the County.
Don Sandoval, CDBG Program Manager, presented a brief summary of the annual plan for
grant allocations from Housing Urban Development (HUD). Mr. Sandoval further stated April 1,
2022, is the submission deadline for the 2023 fiscal year and staff is reaching out to the public for
their community improvement needs through social media platforms, with several emails received
with notable suggestions that will be added.
There was no public testimony offered concerning this matter.
