RE: GRANT REQUEST TO VACATE A PORTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 23 IN
THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 1 AND IN THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF SECTION 2 , TOWNSHIP 4 NORTH, RANGE 67 WEST OF
SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners received a
request from the Milliken Sanitation District to vacate a portion
of road in the Southwest Quarter of Section 1 and in the
Southeast Quarter of Section 2 , Township 4 North, Range 67 West
of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Weld County; Colorado, lying
north of the South 1 ,702 .97 feet of said Quarters lying south of
the Big Thompson River, and
WHEREAS, after study and review of this matter, the Board
desires to vacate said portion of Weld County Road 23 , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable that said vacation
retain a right-of-way or easement for the continued use of
existing sewer, gas, water, or similar pipelines and appur-
tenances, for ditches or canals and appurtenances, and for
electric, telephone, and similar lines and appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request by the
Milliken Sanitation District to vacate a certain portion of Weld
County Road 23 lying in the Southwest Quarter of Section 1 and in
the Southeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 4 North, Range 67
West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado,
being more particularly described as follows; said right-of-way
to be vacated shall be the West 30 feet of said Southwest Quarter
and the East 30 feet of said Southeast Quarter, lying north of
the South 1 ,702. 97 feet of said Quarters lying south of the Big
Thompson River, be, and hereby is, granted.

Notice of Appointment
of Road Viewers
Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a petition heretofore pre-
sented-to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, the said
Commissioners have appointed three Road Viewers to meet at point
named below, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., on the 25th day
of April , A. D., 19.28 ., and proceed thence to view the line prayed
for in said petition, as follows, to-wit:
Commencing at the southwest corner of the North Half (PF2) .of • , ,
the Northwest Quarter (NW4) Section 12 , Township 4 North Range 67
West. , Thence northerly along section line between Sections 11 and
12 and Sections 1 and 2, said Township and Range, to the south
bank of the Big Thompson River, about three Quarters of a mile in
length.
and to attend to such other duties as are required of them as viewers of
said proposed road, at which time and place all whom it may concern may,
if they see fit, appear.

GENTLEMEN:—We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the
public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at s.w. Corner
of the N.I/2 of the N. w. I/4, Section I2, Township 4 N. Range 67 W. , Thence
Northerly along section line between Sections II & I2 and Sections I & 2,
said Township and range , to the south bank of the Big Thompson River,
