SUBJECT: #B2200036 TANDEM AXLE TRUCK - CITY 1
The Fleet Services Department and Public Works have reviewed all bids that were
received and recommends awarding the bid to Transwest Truck Trailer RV Brighton, as their bid
meets specifications. They are $5,410.00 higher than the lowest bid, however they can have the
unit available to upfit in 180 days. Lowest bidder unit availability is July of 2024. This delay
would cost Public Works contractor pricing. The bid is for a Tandem Axle Trucks with Distributor
Tank. The cost is $238,297.00 each for a total of $238,297.00.
