RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE
AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Darin Dalton to said board as the Emergency Medical Service Representative; and Sam Kaneta
to said board as the Sheriff Appointee, both with terms to expire January 14, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Darin Dalton and Sam Kaneta be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board, both with terms to expire January 14, 2025.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of December, A.D., 2022.
