RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZE
DISPOSAL - ANDERSEN'S SALES AND SALVAGE, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described in Exhibit "A,"
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer required for County
use, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and
authorize disposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the abovementioned equipment, be, and
hereby is, authorized for disposal.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of August, A.D., 2022.

Chris,
The undersheriff would like Fleet Services to dispose of trailer 15690007 a 1979 TEPE class eight trailer. This trailer has
been used for storage only and is not road worthy or in any condition to be repaired. It will be going to Andersen's Sales
and Salvage of Greeley
for disposal. Weld County will be receiving scrap value for this unit. The S.O. is going a different direction for this
storage and is not requesting a replacement trailer from the fleet budget. Can you please declare it as surplus and get
the title prepared for disposal?
