The Fleet Services Department has received information from Greiner Ford of Casper that Ford
can no longer build the two -ton four-wheel drive crew cab pickup truck with utility box for Bid
#B2200035. The factory has canceled all remaining 2022 orders citing supply chain issues. The
purchase order for this vehicle was issued by the Purchasing Department on 01/31/2022
(P2200106) in the amount of $69,784.00.
This was discussed at a work session on 11/08/22. Fleet Services recommends rescinding this bid
and that the purchase order be canceled. We will proceed with state bid or other government
competitive pricing to supply the remaining vehicle.

The Fleet Services Department and Public Works have reviewed all bids that were
received and recommends awarding the bid to Greiner Ford of Casper, as they are the lowest
bidder that meets all specifications. The bid is for a 2023 Ford F-550 with an 8ft utility box. The
cost is $69,784.00 each for a total of $69,784.00.
