The cut in on this line has been marked on the map as the parties owning this land has con- sented to the cut in for a laid out road. The draws have been marked across the roads as near as possible. The red lines shows both the North and the South road as to the direction and connection thgr will make. We are asking in this petition that the Honorable Board will vacate a road known as the Carr and Gault road commencing at a point on the Section line on the South side of Section 36, Twp. 11, /1- V Range 66, then running diagonally across Sections 36, corner of 31-30-29-21-22-anld to the East line of 14, Twp. 11, Range 65 and grant us a road as per our petition which is properly outlined as near section line as possible. We further petition that the road extend on to the corner of the Southeast of section 14, Twp. 11, Range 65 per our outline. - _ . Respectfully submit the following report, to wit: After receiving our authority to act, we met at the starting point of said proposed road, on the 20th day of April, 1915 at the hour of 10 o'clock A. H., being the time and place specified in our appointment, and proceeded to view the road prayed for in said petition, as follows: We commenced at the starting point named in said petition, and run • Commencing at the State road on the Section line on the South side of Section 20, Two. 11, Range 66, running East to the East line of section 20 and then angling across Section 21, Twp. 11, Range 66 to the North line of Section 21 and then running due east on this line and connect- ing up with the old Carr and Gault road at this point namely the corners of sections 15-14-22 and 23, Twp. 11, Range 65. Or as out-lined run due East from the State road as above mentioned to the East line of - Section 22, Twp. 11, Range 65. M., and that __ _ .. _ - said obstructions are principally located on the Southwest dorner?of said Section fourteen (14), and also at the corner on said highway at a point about two (2) miles West of said Southwest corner of Section fourteen (14) . • We request this action on the part of the County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, for the reason that said highway is used as, and is supposed to be a public highway; that with said cattle guards and obstructions on the same it is very unsatisfactory and inconvenient to drive teams on said road or to drive automobiles along said way; that residents of our community have had difficulty on said cattle guards with said automobiles, in that tires have been pulled off of said automobiles, and wheels have frequently fallen into said cattle guards.
