RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist and the terms for certain positions will soon expire
on the Regional Communications Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Adam Ferrell to said board as the Fire Zone North Representative; and to reappoint Joel Smith to
said board as the Police Zone North Representative, and Jim Klug to said board as the Fire Zone
North Representative, all with terms to expire December 31, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Adam Ferrell be, and hereby is, appointed; and Joel Smith and Jim Klug,
be and hereby are, reappointed to the Regional Communications Advisory Board, all with terms
to expire December 31, 2025.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of December, A.D., 2022.
