Brief description of the problemlissue:
We have been contacted (letter attached) by the Costilla County Sheriff's Office about purchasing one of our
vehicles that is ready to go to auction. Staying with the prior process of trying to help other governmental
agencies when possible, we are asking if you would accept their offer. The amount of $2,500 for the vehicle is
in line with what we would expect to receive from placing this item up for auction.
What options exist for the Board? (include consequences, Impacts, costs, etc. of options):
1) Accept the offer
2) Reject the offer and send the vehicle to auction
