The sign has been prepared and is ready for pick-up at the Weld County Clerk to the Board's Office. The sign needs to be posted at the entrance, but the method of posting is at your discretion. Some applicants tape the sign up or use zip ties to hang the sign on the fence. Please email two photos of the sign posted by the end of the day tomorrow, Friday, February 18, 2022. The first photo should be far enough away that the viewer can tell where the sign is posted on the property and the second photo should be close enough that the viewer can read the sign. The sign must remain posted until after the hearing. Additionally, when you pick up the sign, you will notice a second, smaller sign with alcohol consumption information on it. This sign needs to be posted at the main bar where alcohol will be served at the event. Typically, it's hung next to the Special Events Permits that will be issued to you if your application is approved. The alcohol consumption sign and the Special Events Permits are required to be visible to all attendees ordering drinks. In regards to your application itself, you list the event time on the State form as 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., but it's listed on the County questionnaire as 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you are comfortable with the County form being corrected to match the State form, please reply to this email and indicate as such. We also need a copy of the caterer's food license please. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
