HomeMy WebLinkAbout20222426.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR WELD COUNTY WAY - COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CDOT) WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on the 4th day of May, 2022, the Board approved an Intergovernmental Agreement for the devolution and maintenance of Weld County Way (County Road 64, aka O Street, near U.S. Highway 85), with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and WHEREAS, in accordance with said intergovernmental agreement, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Deed for Weld County Way from the Colorado Department of Transportation, 10601 West 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634, to the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said quit claim deed, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve and accept said quit claim deed, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim Deed for Weld County Way from the Colorado Department of Transportation, to the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, be, and hereby is, approved and accepted.
