Dear Mr. Anderson:
Enclosed is a fully executed copy of your FFA contract. We appreciate
your participating in this program and wish you every success in employing
those persons in your community that are in need of a job.
Even though this transmittal approves EEA Contract No. 08-2-0002, it is
possible that comments may yet be received under Section 55.10 of the
Regulations. Therefore, if such comments are received, they will be con-
sidered and may be incorporated into this project.
During the course of the grant Manpower Administration staff will be
reviewing programs periodically. Three program areas that will be of
particular concern to the Manpower Administration are: (1) the file of
EEO statements, (2) the hiring of persons from the target groups as
defined by the Act and the Regulations, and (3) the number of persons
hired under EEA who are placed in permanent employment in non-PRA funded
positions. Future EEA fundings will be dependent upon performance in
these areas.
The weekly employment report will continue until you are notified that
it has been discontinued. Contact Frank Urban (Project Officer) and
phone by 9:00 a.m. each Monday with a count of the number of persons
working in EEA jobs as of C.O.B. the previous Friday, and also a count
of the cumulative number of persons who have terminated.
Should you desire assistance at any time during the operation of this
program, do not hesitate to contact Mr. Urban, Project Officer, who assisted
you in developing your proposal.
Sincerely,
FRANK A. POTTER
Regional Manpower Administrator
