RE: VACATION, ABANDONMENT AND CLOSING THE EAST TEN FEET
AND THE WEST TEN FEET OF SECOND STREET BETWEEN ITS
INTERSECTION WITH 4TH AVENUE AND 5TH AVENUE, AND ,t
BETWEEN ITS INTERSECTION WITH 5TH AVENUE AND 6TH
AVENUE, IN THE UNINCORPORATED TOWN OF GILL, WELD rn I-

WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the Board of [g
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, requesting that K
Second Street, North of 4th Avenue and South of 6th Avenue o
be decreased from one hundred (100) feet wide as laid out in zto
the original plat to eighty (80) feet wide, in the unincorporated z
town of Gill, Weld County, Colorado, in order that said street
be in conformity with all other streets and avenues in Gill, a
Colorado, most of which are eighty (80) feet in width; and zi

WHEREAS, the Board, after investigation of all of the facts
and circumstances surrounding the petition, and after personal z o�
investigation of the hereinabove described street sought to be 03
narrowed to eighty (80) feet wide, has determined that the r -4
necessity of the public no longer requires this portion of
Second Street to be one hundred (100) feet wide; and m

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Mal
Colorado, believes it to be in the best interest of the public, m
and Weld County, to approve said petition. o

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County 7{`

Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned
footage on both sides of Second Street, being the East ten (10) m o
feet and the West ten (10) feet of Second Street, between its r
intersection with 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue, and between its d
intersection with 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue, in the unincorporated o r
town of Gill, Weld County, Colorado, be and it is hereby declared - o
abandoned, vacated, and closed, in accordance with the submitted 2,2
petition.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day
of December, A.D. , 1974.
