Dear Director Roy,
The Weld County Board of County Commissioners is pleased to offer our support for United Way of Weld
County's (UWWC) application to become the Weld County catchment area's Local Coordinating
Organization. UWWC has a strong reputation for building relationships and bringing agencies together to
achieve common goals in our community.
UWWC has been an active partner in many local initiatives and has made significant investments in early
childhood. The partnership between UWWC and the Weld County Department of Human Services has led
to increased recruitment of local childcare providers, quality initiatives, and resource sharing.
We value our long-standing relationship with UWWC and will continue to work alongside them in their
efforts to successfully implement early childhood programs in Weld County.
