RE: AUTHORIZE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO CONVENE AS A BOARD
OF EQUALIZATION FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2022
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, C.R.S. §39-8-101, provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall
constitute a Board of Equalization for the adjustment and equalization of assessments among the
several taxpayers of Weld County, Colorado, and to review the assessment roll of all taxable
property located in Weld County, as prepared by the Assessor, and to hear appeals from the
determination of said assessments fixed and made by the County Assessor of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, said Board of Equalization shall convene on July 1, 2022, and thereafter may
convene and adjourn on each day following, through August 5, 2022, for Real and Personal
Property Tax Appeals, and through September 1, 2022, for Senior Property Tax Exemption
Appeals, as necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that said Board shall sit as a Board of Equalization beginning on July 1, 2022,
and ending September 1, 2022, as detailed above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of June A.D., 2022.

Pursuant to C.R.S. §39-8-104, notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, will sit as the County Board of Equalization, in its Chambers in the
Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, beginning on
the 1st day of July, 2022, to review the assessment rolls of all taxable property located in the
County, as prepared by the Assessor, and to hear appeals for determinations of the Assessor,
and will continue said hearings from day to day through August 5, 2022, for real and personal
property, and through September 1, 2022, for senior property tax exemptions, as necessary.
