RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT #2 TO SYSTEM UPGRADE AGREEMENT (SUA) II FOR
FRONT RANGE COMMUNICATIONS CONSORTIUM (FRCC) ASTRO 25
COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - MOTOROLA
SOLUTIONS, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Amendment #2 to System Upgrade
Agreement (SUA) II for Front Range Communications Consortium (FRCC) Astro 25
Communications System between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety
Communications, and Motorola Solutions, Inc., commencing January 1, 2023, with further terms
and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment #2 to System Upgrade Agreement (SUA) II for Front
Range Communications Consortium (FRCC) Astro 25 Communications System between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety Communications, and Motorola Solutions,
Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 21st day of December, A.D., 2022.

Brief description of the problem/issue:
This is for an amendment to our FRCC SUA agreement. This is for the addition of Federal Heights
and the additional services at Adams County. The additional costs will be billed to the respective
agencies by Weld County Communications via our SUA agreement. This has been approved by
Bruce Barker.
What options exist for the Board? (include consequences, impacts, costs, etc. of options):
Approve: The additional services will be approved and added to the Master SUA agreement.
Decline: The additional services will not be added to the Master SUA agreement.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends to approve the amendment.

AMENDMENT NUMBER Z TO
SERVICES AGREEMENT - CONTRACT NUMBER USC000181396
This Amendment Number 2 ("Amendment") to the Services Agreement — Contract Number
USC000181396, dated December 10, 2019, ("Agreement") by and between Motorola Solutions, Inc.,
("Motorola" or "Contractor") and Weld County Colorado ("Weld County" or "Customer") (collectively the
"Parties") is made January 1 , 2023 ("Effective Date"). This Amendment amends the
Agreement identified above.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into the Agreement dated December 10, 2019, under which Weld County
agreed to purchase and Motorola agreed to sell maintenance services to Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and the good and valuable consideration
herein, the Parties hereby agree as follows
1. The Agreement is hereby amended to include additional sites, for Services covered under the
Agreement, System Upgrade Agreement ("SUA") services.
2 Such additional Services and the applicable pricing are described in the enclosed schedule, attached
hereto and incorporated herein as "Schedule 1".
3. Except as amended herein, the terms, conditions and other provisions of the Agreement shall
remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereby enter into this Amendment as of the date set forth above.

This Amendment includes the following upgrade services in order to deploy the System Upgrade
Agreement.
Additional site include:
• Federal Heights (6) Channel RF Site SZ05AB554
Additional Services
• ADCOM NICE logger
• ADCOM (2) MCC7500 addition
These four items will be added to the remainder of the existing System Upgrade Agreement,
dated December 10, 2019.
Additional Annual Impacts

$71,061.19 ($10,151.60 annually)
$78,428.56 ($11,204.08 annually)
$152,075.00 ($21,725.00 annually)

Total cost of System Upgrade Services is: $43,080.68 annually and $301,564.75 for the
duration of the System Upgrade Agreement.
