EAST LARIMER COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
RESOLUTION NO. 2022 -10 - 01
TERMINATING CONTINUING DECLARATION OF LOCAL DISASTER
EMERGENCY
At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the East Larimer County Water District held on
October 18, 2022, which meeting was duly and properly called and at which a quorum was present,
the following preambles and resolutions were made and adopted by affirmative vote of all the
Directors present, as follows:
WHEREAS, East Larimer County Water District Resolution No. 2020-03-01 was
approved and adopted by the Board of Directors (the "Board") of the East Larimer County Water
District (the "District") on March 20, 2020;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2020-03-01 continued and renewed, until terminated by the
Board, that certain Declaration of Local Disaster Emergency dated March 20, 2020 (the
"Declaration"), which was declared by Loren Maxey, President/Chairman, as the principal
executive officer of the District on March 20, 2020;
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Declaration was to temporarily activate the response and
recovery aspects of any and all applicable local and interjurisdictional disaster emergency plans,
emergency funding and Board meeting procedures, and to authorize the furnishing of aid and
assistance under such plans resulting from the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the emergency and purpose of the Declaration
has sufficiently abated such that it is reasonable and appropriate that the Declaration now be
terminated.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board as follows:
The Declaration, with the consent of the Board, is hereby terminated effective immediately
upon the approval and adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 18th day of October, 2022.

certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the Resolution duly adopted by the Board of Directors
