Dear FIN end user name and FIN code: " E- 6 q
16800 Executive Plaza Dr
Dearborn, MI 48126
Ford Prom' is excited to begin taking orders for the all -new 2023 model year (23MY) Super Duty®
starting in mid -November. The next -generation 2023 Ford F -Series Super Duty takes our trusted
heavy-duty truck to the next level with must -have tech such as Pro Power Onboard'. and our
exclusive suite of software and services that help maximize uptime, accelerate productivity and
lower the cost of ownership.
Given the shortened model year, continuing microchip shortage and global supply chain
disruptions, we anticipate an over -subscribed Super Duty government order bank.
To avoid uncertainty about the quantity of trucks we will be able to supply, I'm pleased to
introduce our Super Duty Allocation Program. Under this new program, we will reserve production
lots for our best Super Duty state and local government partners. This pilot program will provide
transparency, certainty and allow you to better plan for your future fleet needs.
Based on your five-year average Super Duty purchase history, your anticipated allocation for
23MY will be X units (the "projected allocation").
While every effort will be made to supply your projected allocation, please remember that orders
in the dealer's order banks are no guarantee of future production. In addition, inflation and
significant rises in raw material costs are impacting new vehicle pricing. We will not guarantee
price protection on unbuilt 22MY orders that are re-entered into the 23MY order bank. However,
once a purchase order is submitted to your Ford dealership, we will honor the current price level
throughout the entire model year, regardless of when the Super Duty is produced or delivered.
We appreciate your understanding as we work through these challenging times. Please contact
your dealership representative for complete details. Thank you again for your loyalty and support
of the Ford brand.
Sincerely,
T1at`raw ddcevceov

Good Morning David,
I just checked every incoming 4WD 1500, 2500, and 3500 in all body configurations and they are all sold unless
you want a Denali. This includes everything starting with scheduled to be built trucks all through the trucks on
the ground. That's my long way of saying I've got nothing.
I wish I could be of better help, but I'll I can do is order.

Bruce,
Is David able to purchase other LHS vehicles that are not on the attached list? David has found a
replacement vehicle for PW that we were unsuccessful bidding last year because the sole bid was
over budget.
David found a vehicle that meets the original bid specs that is $13,094 less than the sole bid from last
January (attached). He advised that no other vendor has inventory that comes close to the bid
specs and this unit (2022 Dodge Ram 5500 w/ flatbed) is currently available. Now that Ford is telling us
that Weld County will only be allocated 5 Super Duty units for 2023, it is strongly recommended that
we proceed with this purchase.
Please advise.

Thank you for putting this verbiage together. My only concern is how is David going to be able to
purchase these vehicles without a requisition and purchase order? I spoke to Chris about this and
since we won't be sending David to the dealership with a blank check, the dealership would have to
be okay with invoicing us for the purchase. I am uncertain how this works so I have copied David on
this message. Chris indicated we could cut a check to the dealership within 24 hours, will this work?

Surely, the vendor could hold the vehicle for 24 hours until the check was received. Assets cannot be
purchased on p -cards but they can be purchased with a check so this would be our best option.
Another option would be to provide David with a purchase order # to provide the dealer when he is
ready to make the purchase; however, this would mean this item would have to be removed from
Sec. 5-4-80. and I don't think we want to do that.
Another concern would be for grant purchases, but we don't seem to have very many of them.
Thanks,
Christie Peters

Check these out. Would happen on Monday. I need to run the dates on the ordinance through CTB to see if I am right
on those. Also, note #4 on Exhibit A.

Men,
Attached is the list of the latest vehicles that have canceled. The vehicles for Planning, weeds and the health
department would not fit under the criteria that has been set.
