Request Board Approval of the Department's Child Welfare 2022-23 SFY Respite Care Provider List. Below is a list of Providers that have elected to provide Respite Care services for the term of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. These individuals and couples, most of whom are Weld County Certified foster parents, have met certification requirements. Respite care is limited to four (4) hours per week per child. The hours of care may be provided in any combination throughout a month but may not exceed 16 hours per month. Payment is $16.75 per each four (4) hour period but may not exceed $67.00 per month for 16 hours. Upon approval by the Board, amendments extending terms will be issued and processed through CMS. I do not recommend a Work Session. I recommend approval of the SFY 2022-23 Respite Care provider list and Amendments and authorize the Chair to sign.
