Subject: Memorandum of Understanding
We have reviewed the philosophy and the content of the
agreements between the counties and the CSU Extension Service
and have come up with an agreement which is quite similar to
the one between the University and the Federal Extension
Service. There is a three page "master" agreement, which
remains in force from year to year unless terminated as
described in Section 5, and an annual supplement, which in-
dicates the levels of financial support from county and CSU
budgets.
For the current year, it is necessary that the University
and the counties sign both the "master" agreement and the
supplement; however in future years, only the supplement will
have to be executed.
We will appreciate it if you will have the master agree-
ments and the supplements executed by the Chairman of the
Board of County Commissioners and by the County Clerk. One
copy should be returned to us, whereas the other copy is for
the county's record.
Very sincerely,
Director for Extension and University Services
