The Town of Severance would like to invite you to public hearings to discuss the Moody
Comprehensive Plan Amendment and the Severance Greenway Corridor
Comprehensive Plan Amendment. The Planning Commission for both will be held
November 16th, 2022 The Town Council meeting for both will be held on December 13th,
2022 both at 6:00 P.M. at Severance Town Hall located at 3 S. Timber Ridge Parkway,
Severance, Colorado, and virtually. Please visit https://www.townofseverance.org/ for
virtual meeting link.
The Town of Severance considers your interest and input in this matter an important part
of the Town's consideration of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but
would like to provide input, written comments are welcome. You may contact Abdul

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Town of Severance will hold a
Public Hearing, commencing at 6:00 p.m., or as soon as thereafter as the matter may be called, on
Wednesday/November 16th, 2022 at the Town of Severance Town Hall, Council Chambers, 3 S.
Timber Ridge Parkway, Severance, Colorado 80550. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider
a request by Hidden Lake Investments, LLC, Journey Homes, LLC, and Eaton -Law Reservoir
Company to amend the Town of Severance's Comprehensive Plan by changing the future land use
map designation for certain real property for which a petition for annexation to the Town of
Severance has been filed with the Town, to be known as the Moody Annexation, from Rural
Residential Conservation and Suburban Perimeter to Suburban Perimeter and Town Core, so as to
allow desired uses of the Moody Annexation that are not otherwise contemplated under the current
future land use designations for the property, and whether such request meets the applicable
requirements of the Severance Municipal Code for comprehensive plan amendment applications.
The Planning Commission's Public Hearing shall be conducted in -person and by electronic
means (see the link below to participate in the meeting on your computer). All submitted materials
and instructions for participation will be posted at https://www.townofseverance.org, and available
upon appointment at Severance Town Hall, 3 S. Timber Ridge Parkway, Severance, Colorado 80550
970-686-1218 no later than three days prior to the meeting. Submittal of any materials to the Planning
Commission review are due no later than five (5) days before the meeting and written comments

whether to ratify and approve the Planning Commission's decision regarding the comprehensive plan
amendment application as presented and requested by Hidden Lake Investments, LLC, Journey
Homes, LLC, and Eaton -Law Reservoir Company.
The Public Hearing shall be conducted in -person and by electronic means (see the link below

The approximate location of the property that is subject of the hearing is the northeast corner
of E. Harmony Road and Teller Street. The legal description for the portion of the Moody Annexation
that is the subject of the comprehensive plan amendment application is set forth in "Exhibit A."
Any person may appear at the Public Hearing and be heard regarding the matters under
consideration.
