On 08/09/2021, B2100111 for Qty 2 Tandem Axle Tank Trailers with Dust Palliative Spray Systems
was awarded to Tremcar, Inc. The Fleet Services and Public Works Departments were recently
informed the winning vendor is no longer able to fulfill our order due to the following "Due to
reduced manpower, we have closed the division that would have built these trailers."
At this time, Fleet Services and Public Works recommends rescinding this bid and reposting it on
June 21, 2022. In addition, the purchase order will be canceled.

Fleet Services and Public Works have reviewed all bids that were received for bid
B2100111 and recommend awarding the bid to Tremcar USA inc. of Strasburg Ohio as they are
the lowest bidder that meets all specifications. The bid is for two 2022 Tandem Axle Tank
Trailer with Dust Palliative Spray System. The cost is $169,400.00 each, for a total of
$338,800.00.
