We have run many stories in our newspaper about their outreach program. A wise man told me when we started the newspaper to feature a lot of children so that is what we have always tried to do in the Surveyor. That's what Clarke and Kris do too! Focus on and help children. They have been able to actually change the lives of many children. We wrote about their first tiny home and have followed up and learned of its success. Please consider supporting their rezoning application and allow them to use funds from their tiny home project to raise money for the Ukraine Orphan Outreach Program. My name is Anastasiya Bolton. I'm a former long-time Colorado journalist, but more importantly a friend and an admirer of the Ukraine Orphan Outreach, based right here in Berthoud, CO. I met Clarke and Kris Stoesz too many years ago to count. At the time, they'd adopted several Ukrainian children and were working to help other orphans in the impoverished former Soviet Union republic, that's now a country fighting for its independence. Back then, we ended up doing a story. From our first meeting, everything that the Stoesz did had my admiration and respect. I've always looked up to people who went out of their way to help others, especially those who need help and protection the most — children. I followed up with stories when the Stoesz organized a camp for Ukrainian orphans in Colorado and more recently, connected former colleagues to talk to Clarke and Kris about the situation in Ukraine, since they and their non-profit are so intricately connected with the country, its people and helping them survive. I believe in the Ukraine Orphan Outreach missions so much, I've hosted a fundraiser for the non-profit and donated to their cause several times, including just this past year. What the Stoesz do with the Ukraine Orphan Outreach actually changes lives of people in Ukraine and gets help where its most needed. You can see it in their social media posts from the difficult trips they take, including one they just came back from, visiting the country at war. We should all be so lucky to have the passion, commit the time and choose to help those in need, no matter what, always. I understand that the Stoesz use part of the proceeds from their tiny home rental to fund their work with orphan children. I really hope you consider supporting their rezoning application and allow them to raise some of the money necessary to help the children who'd otherwise have nowhere to turn. I am happy to answer any questions about my relationship with the Stoesz and the Ukrainian Orphan Outreach. Respectfully, Anastasiya Bolton aboItonreports(a)gpiail.com (303) 653 6753 cell. EXHIBIT tc,s(1-011, Coirk February 22, 2023 RE: USR 22-0034 application Weld County Planning & Zoning, As a local neighbor we are aware of Clarke and Kris Stoesz who have operated an AirBNB business on their property and have always been a good owner/operator. We understand they are in application to operate 2 "RV -Trailers" zoned as a campground to continue this operation. We have no issues with the minimal additional traffic or any other impact, as the activity and rentals are hardly noticeable. We are confident that if any issues arise as a result of their customers, they will address the issue in an appropriate and timely fashion. We support the concept of their operation, and appreciate their model of caring for orphans as part of their business. We have good relations with our neighbors. Respectfully submitted, Jesus Silva (Neighbor to North and east) ello! CLARKE & KRIS STOESZ Welcome to our miniStays Ii, our Mid -Century Modern tiny homes. We are so glad you are here and hope your stay is everything you could imagine and more. Our names are Kris and Clarke and we are High School sweethearts who just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. We have lived on our hobby farm for 27 years now and raised 6 children who are now all adults. Four of our children were adopted from Ukraine and ever since our first trip to Ukraine in 2003, we fell in love with -the people and country. As a result of our experience of adopting and wondering what happens to those orphans left behind, we decided to start an NGO called Ukraine Orphan Outreach. We have been faithful to our work in Ukraine since 2006 and both of our Airbnb's help fund the work we do in Ukraine. We have committed to having 20% of all profits from our two Airbnbs go towards Ukraine Orphan Outreach and the work we do for the people of Ukraine. If you want to learn more about our NGO, you can check out our website at www.ukraineorphans.org T raine Over 2,300 coats, socks, boots and winterwear has been distributed Since 2006, we continue to grow and build on a foundation founded on the desire to help the marginalized. As a result of the war, our work has expanded tenfold and the need to walk alongside Ukraine in support is more important now than ever before. We continue to support aged -out orphans as well as all those who have found themselves with nothing of their own accept their wH to survive. Thousands of orphans, single moms, displaced, and elderly have been fed and provided shelter and live -saving supplies Over 30 generators have been distributed to orphanages, hospitals, nursing homes, shelters and churches. Vision Welcome to the miniStays vision of our two tiny homes. Both my husband and 1 have always held a fascination with the design and building process of a tiny house. We decided to pursue building tiny homes with the underlying purpose of helping Ukraine Orphan Outreach. one of our tinys is a comfortable farm feel home while the other one is designed around a "Mid -Century Modern" theme. Our desire is to create a unique and safe environment where our guests can sit back, relax and take in the fresh country charm that surrounds them. From fresh farm eggs as well as garden vegetables to the joy of feeding baby llamas and getting that special picture of a special moment, our guests are filled with happiness and joy! It is a time to reenergize and take in the peacefulness that the hobby farm has to offer. Mission Our mission is to provide an unforgettable experience and stay at our tiny homes. Our hope is to bring peace, joy, and in some cases solace, Guests are welcomed in one of two tiny homes that offer each their own unique character. mutt A rural_ Pace co reax 01-L :23_- .0.27:2zt---n-mmiq_ ,.. std► c _ tr ,. ~-- shy 1--7'k=11,,,_ us Aaca Irr :._ —_nuttinatascosn mat r -.w I -41 La ik milks__ kup + - --- o^ e.xcei mod, tit 4114-=.G411 OCO.II---404100,4 anikaSeltAiL CAOPLPFULAtitan- in St ___Alskana, ,t a;a 4,iondsteritAA t etr - I n eater_ .at 44649 cost ttf+'.= r it4aG : . ate.--*atiatdt V>C404iP41 Varna It; eitreol_, jeatstiiik' L iI: . -\Nit 4 _i ` cenra i ---'sa S >R Cmats- aRedittehut Carolyn's review of your place Tny Hou sleFarm Stay - m l ni Stays Dec 7S- 17. 2022 Cli overall rating 5* Public review I love Mini -stars.
