RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR22-0033, FOR A BREEDING, AND
BOARDING KENNEL, LIMITED TO 14 DOGS OVER THE AGE OF SIX (6) MONTHS
AND TRAINING OF UP TO 12 DOGS PER YEAR, OUTSIDE OF SUBDIVISIONS AND
HISTORIC TOWNSITES IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
CHRISTOPHER GLEASON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 8th day of
March, 2023, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Christopher Gleason, 45144 County Road 33, Pierce, Colorado 80650, for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR22-0033, for a Breeding
and Boarding Kennel, limited to 14 dogs over the age of six (6) months and training of up to 12
dogs per year, outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District
on the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption, RECX17-0152;
being part of the W1/2 W1/2 of Section 14,
Township 8 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant for a continuance and, having been fully informed, finds that
this request be approved, and the matter should be continued to March 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.,
to allow the applicant to be present.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to March 22,
2023, at 10:00 a.m.
