, WHEREAS; the Board,of County Commissioners, :Weld County,
Colorado, has reviewed the agreement and believes it to be desirous . '
and in the best interests of the County to enter into the aforementioned -
agreement as proposed and submitted and upon•the basis recited therein. _
iVO4ty, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the, Board of County _
Commissioners,. Weld County; 'Colorado, that said agreement providing '
for the construction and improvements on State Highway 392; "Weld ,
- , County, Colorado,, per,copy attached hereto and„made a part hereof by '
• -reference, ibe, and it hereby is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that.the Board be and it hereby is
authorized to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same .. ..

' COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT .
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 2nd day of February
1972, by end between the County of Weld party of the ' •
first part,' and the. STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS-
STATE OF COLORADO; party of the second part, WITNESSETH' that
' WHEREAS, The Division has constructed, or proposes to construct,
or provide for the construction of, - a project known as
Project S 0392,(2) approximately 0.769, miles long beginning
east of theltowd of Windsor at a junction of State Highway 257 (E. end
of Proj. S 0257(1)) and extending easterly '
on State Highway No. 392 in.the County and
WHEREAS, The said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid
Secondary System,
•
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Chapter l .of Title 23,
• U.S.C., the Parties have jointly agreed that this project having been
designed and/or constructed to the appropriate Design Standards and
, Specifications, as determined by the Design Traffic Volume which was
developed in accordance with approved and established practices, and the ' .
• above having current approval of Federal Highway Administration do hereby
-agree to furtherance of this project to completion in accordance, with
established -practices of the Division of Highways-State of Colorado.
In accordance with provisions as stated in 120-13-6 of Colorado
•
Revised Statutes the State Highway Commission intends .to abandon all
portions of the existing highway which may result from any relocation
involved in connection with this project. Commission action will be
takes; as soon as is practical after the relocated highway is completed
and open to public travel.
• This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit
of the Successors and assigns of the Parties thereto.
. This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories
' on behalf of! the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting
of the Board of County Commissioners held on February 2 , 1972 -
a certified copy of which is attached hereto.
NOTE: Projects S 0257(1) 'and BOARD OF- COUNTY COtti ISSIONERS
S 0392(2), Windsor - East, are
contiguous and are combined for WELD

1972 , the following resolution was adopted:
"RESOLVED, That this Board hereby approves a certain Agreement with
the STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS-STATE OF COLORADO,
dated + ' , 1972 whereby the County has reviewed and approved
the Geometric Standards designated to. govern the construction of a Federal
