CALL TO ORDER:
Mike Freeman, President, called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.
APPROVE MINUTES OF APRIL 3, 2023:
By motion duly made and seconded, the minutes of April 3, 2023, were approved
unanimously.
REVIEW STATUS OF WELD COUNTY FOR ROAD PROJECTS: Elizabeth Relford from Public
Works provided a memo to the Board with an update detailing the status of the HARP road
projects. Elizabeth reviewed the detail of the memo at the meeting:
The 2023 HRP program has started one project, is looking to start two this month, one is
scheduled to start in September, with the last one still anticipating completion late November.
Weather has put road construction activities behind schedule this year with little relief in sight
this summer. The crews working on these HRP roads are the same crews working to re -open
roads damaged by flooding.
Public Works crews have started CR77/SH14 to CR100 at a current cost of $61,299.
Public Works crews hope to start the Hudson truck route before August, CR10/ CR45
to CR47 and CR47/CR10 to SH52, weather delays continue to push these two
projects.
The CR3/SH56 to SH60 project is still scheduled to start work in mid -September.
Weather will play an important role in being able to complete the CR22/US85 to CR31
project
REVIEW 2022 AUDIT: Chris D'Ovidio, Controller, stated Hinkle & Company, Certified Public
Accountants, conducted the audit as of December 31, 2022, and no exceptions were found. By
motion duly made and seconded, the audit was approved unanimously.
There was no other business to come before the Board.
