VACANCY COMMITTEE
DECEMBER 12, 1974
6:45 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Mr. Glen Anderson, at 6:45 P.M. , Thursday,
December 12, 1974.
After a brief discussion Mr. Brown made a motion that in case of any vacancies
no candidates that were defeated during-the election, be considered to fill the'
vacancy. The motion was seconded by Mr. Schissler. The motion passed.
Mr. Anderson suggested that the three candidates be presented before the entire
Commission. All members agreed.
The Meeting was adjourned at 7 :00 p.m.

on the Home Rule Charter Commission, from District 2.
We would like to have you present at our next meeting. The Commission
members would like to know you better and learn more about your thoughts
and opinions.
The meeting will be held Thursday, December 19, 1974, at 7 :30 p.m. , in
the County Commissioners' office, on the second floor of the new Public
Health Building, just east of the Weld County Hospital.

Currently self-employed as publisher/editor of weekly newspaper,
• The Farmer and Miner, based in Frederick. Newspaper is owned
by Mr. and Mrs. Easton. The newspaper is they legal paper for the
Towns of Frederick, Firestone, Dacono and Eric as well as several
fire and sanitation districts. The paper was Purchased in 1965,
and since that time Mrs. Easton has regularly attended town board
meetings of all four towns. She also helped to organize a Tri-Town
Planning Commission.

Acted as business manager and reported city council and school
board meetings. Lafayette is a home rule charter city.
