RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO BUILDING TRADES ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Building Trades Advisory Committee, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Scott Dial to said board as the Home Builders Association of Northern Colorado Representative,
and Jay Pier to said board as the Large Independent General Contractor Representative, both
with terms to expire April 10, 2025, and to appoint Aaron Haas to said board as the Plumbing
Representative, with a term to expire April 10, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Scott Dial, Jay Pier, and Aaron Haas, be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Building Trades Advisory Committee, with terms to expire on April 10, 2025, and April 10,
2026, as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 16th day of October, A.D., 2023.
