A public hearing was conducted on April 26, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:

Commissioner Lori Saine

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 8, 2023, and duly published
February 10, 2023, in the Greeley Tribune, a public Show Cause hearing, PCSC22-0013, was
scheduled on February 22, 2023, and rescheduled due to inclement weather and closure of
County Offices. On March 1, 2023, a hearing was scheduled to determine whether good cause
exists for the revocation of Minor Amended Use by Special Review Permit, MUSR14-0008, for a
Kennel to increase the number of dogs allowed from 16 to 30 in the A (Agricultural) Zone District,
held by Scott and Kristin Fisher, at which time the Board continued the hearing until March 29,
2023, to allow Mr. and Mrs. Fisher to be present. On March 29, 2023, the Board heard all of the
testimony and statements of those present, and being fully informed, continued the hearing until
April 26, 2023, to allow the Fishers additional time to address outstanding issues. Karin
McDougal, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, requested a continuance to May 17, 2023, to
allow additional time for the certified engineer to provide a letter certifying the structure, as built.
Rob Adriaens, Weld County Chief Building Official, stated he spoke with the abovementioned
certified engineer who confirmed the structure has been repaired, and relayed he will have a letter
prepared, stating such, by the next hearing date.
Commissioners Ross and Buck commended the permittee for working through the process
to obtain compliance.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.

In the matter of Show Cause hearing, PCSC22-0013, Commissioner James moved to
continue the matter to May 17, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Ross, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing
was completed at 9:59 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 10th day of May, 2023.
