TGYS received 226 program applications requesting $36,104,089 in funding. Of those programs requesting funding,144 received a qualifying score. Funding decisions were based on scores, tier, and prevention area and were then approved by the TGYS Board. After a rigorous review and decision making process and with a budget of approximately $11 million available for program funding, 83 programs are tentatively being awarded funding for SFY 24. Final awards are contingent on finalization of the long bill appropriation and approval by the Governor. We are pleased to inform you that the following program(s) has been approved by the TGYS Board to receive TGYS funding for SFY 24, contingent upon final approval from the Governor. • Program Name: • Weld County Department of Human Services Wraparound Program (WCDHS Wraparound); • Funding Amount: $450,000.00 Per the TGYS Board decision on April 14, 2023, all Tier 3 applicants requesting over $250,000 received a 10% reduction in their funding request, bringing their program funding amount to 90% of their original ask or $250,000, whichever is greater. PLEASE NOTE: Funding for TGYS and the grant award allocation is contingent upon final approval by the Governor. Once the Governor has approved TGYS grantees and award amounts, you will receive an official award letter and any additional instructions to begin the contract process. TGYS Program Specialists will be contacting you soon to review your work plan and budget to discuss any changes or updates needed for your SFY 24 purchase order or contract. Lastly, please mark your calendars for TGYS Grantee July 28, 2023, in Denver, Colorado.
