RE: APPROVE LAND USE APPLICATION FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITY
EQUIPMENT UPGRADE AT 822 7TH STREET, GREELEY (CHASE BUILDING), AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR AND FACILITIES DEPARTMENT TO SIGN - RETHERFORD
ENTERPRISES, INC., ON BEHALF OF VERIZON WIRELESS AND CITY OF GREELEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Land Use Application for a Wireless
Communication Equipment Upgrade at 822 7th Street, Greeley (Chase Building), among the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Facilities Department, and Retherford Enterprises, Inc., on behalf of
Verizon Wireless and the City of Greeley, commencing upon full execution of signatures, with
further terms and conditions being as stated in said application, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said application, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Land Use Application for a Wireless Communication Equipment
Upgrade at 822 7th Street, Greeley (Chase Building), among the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Facilities Department, and Retherford Enterprises, Inc., on behalf of Verizon Wireless and the
City of Greeley, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair and Toby Taylor, Director of
the Facilities Department, be, and hereby are, authorized to sign said application.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of October, A.D., 2023.

Subject: 822 7th Street — Verizon Updates
Verizon leases a suite and tower space at the 822 7th Street, Greeley (aka Chase Building). They are
wanting to update some antenna equipment as part of their improvement process. In order to do so,
they are applying for a City of Greeley permit. The permit requires the Building owner sign off on the
document.
Facilities is recommending approval.
