The State Board of Health, the Air Pollution Control Commission and
the Water Quality Control Commission are required by state law to
hold an annual public hearing during the month of October to permit
citizen comments and questions on air and water pollution problems
in Colorado.
This year the hearing will be held on October 16 at the Continental
Denver Motor Hotel, Valley Highway and Speer Boulevard, Denver, at
2:30 p.m.
In our desire to make this joint meeting as useful and informative
as possible to the board and commissions, and to interested agencies
of government and the public at large, we have planned an all-day
session with emphasis on the effects of energy development and
recreation on the Colorado environment.
All interested parties are cordially invited to attend. A copy of
the agenda is enclosed.
