A public hearing was conducted on June 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 15, 2023, and duly published May 17,
2023, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of
Antonio and Eve Rios, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit,
USR23-0009, for a Kennel (for up to 40 dogs over the age of six [6] months) in a subdivision or
historic townsite (Scotts Acres) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Karin McDougal, Assistant
County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, presented an email request from the
applicant, to withdraw the application, due to plans to discontinue the operation.
IR Commissioner James moved to accept the request of Antonio and Eve Rios to withdraw the
application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit,
USR23-0009, for a Kennel (for up to 40 dogs over the age of six [6] months) in a subdivision or
historic townsite (Scotts Acres) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Ross, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing
was completed at 10:01 a.m.
