RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR23-0005, FOR A SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY (SEF) OUTSIDE OF SUBDIVISIONS
AND HISTORIC TOWNSITES IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
KENNETH HARRING, C/O CBEP SOLAR 6, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 22nd day
of. March, 2023, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Kenneth Harring, 5820 East County Road 1000 South Cloverdale, Indiana
46120, do CBEP Solar 6, LLC, P.O. Box 1255, Sterling, Colorado 80751, for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR23-0005, for a Solar Energy Facility
(SEF) outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the
following described real estate, to -wit:
Being part of the NW1/4 of Section 32,
Township 7 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant for a continuance and, having been fully informed, finds that
this request be approved and the matter should be continued to May 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., to
allow Kenneth Harring, do CBEP Solar 6, LLC, adequate time to address the concerns of
surrounding property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to May 3, 2023,
at 10:00 a.m.
