CHAPTER 3 HUMAN RESOURCES Amend Sec. 3-6-70. Holidays. A. Employees will be paid for the equivalent of eight (8) hours of Holiday Pay for each holiday recognized by the Board of County Commissioners through the procedure detailed below, with such Holiday Pay being prorated accordingly for part-time employees. All regular and part-time employees will receive paid holidays. Dates will be established annually and will be published by a resolution of the Board of County Commissioners. Recognized holidays may include the following: 1. New Year's Day. 2. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 3. Presidents Day. 4. Memorial Day. 5. Juneteenth (floating). 6. Fourth of July. 7. Colorado Day (floating). 8. Labor Day. 9. Columbus Day (floating). 10. Veterans Day. 11. Thanksgiving Day. 12. Christmas Day. Remainder of Section — No change.
