SIGN AGREEMENT WITH STATE HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT FOR A TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION
AND SURVEY COUNTY ROAD NUMBERS 16 & 69:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners that it does
hereby approve a certain agreement with the Division of Highways, State of
Colorado, dated February 3, 1971, whereby the County obligates itself to
reimburse the Department for conducting an engineering and traffic investigation
or survey for the purpose of stop sign determination on County Road Numbers 16 & 69
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following votes

COUNTY - TRAFFIC - STUDY

By authority of Section 44, Article 13, Chapter 120, C.R.S. 1963 and with
reference to the signatories on behalf of the County of Weld
Colorado and by virtue of a Resolution finally passed and approved at a meeting
of the Board of County Commissioners held on February 3 , 1971 ,
a certified copy of which is attached hereto, THIS AGREEMENT is made between
the State DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, STATE OF COLORADO,
hereinafter called "the Division" and the COUNTY OF Weld , Colorado,
hereinafter called the "County," and WITNESSETH that:
WHEREAS, an engineering and traffic investigation or survey as declared
in Section 1B.13 of the current Colorado Traffic Control Manual is required
for stop sign determination on County Road No. 16&69 at a location shown on
the map attached to and made a part of this Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Division is agreeable to conducting said investigation in
full or in part as subsequently described herein and under the terms stipulated

herein at an estimated cost as follows:

Vehicle Use: $ 20 $ 10
Equipment Use:
Labor: 80 30
Other Expense: (Process Counts) 25 10
TOTAL ESTIt•iATE: $ 125* $ 50
NOW, THEREFOP;E, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants
and agreements herein contained, and the faithful performance thereof, the
parties hereto promise and agree as follows:
1. The Division will provide the manpower and equipment to conduct
said investigation in full, subject to any exceptions declared below:
None
2. The Division will accomplish said investigation during the month of
Feb. 1971 and will thereafter submit to the County a report of its findings.
*If it is desired to supplement the machine counts with manual turning
movement counts, the cost per 8-hour shift would be as shown above (recommend
two 8-hour shifts-Max).

3. The Division-- I1, after said investigation a report have been
accomplished, make billing to the County for the total cost of the work.
4. The County will make payment promptly to the Division on receipt of
the Division's billing as stated above.
5. In the event the County shall fail to make payment to the Division
as agreed upon in the foregoing, the County hereby authorizes and directs the
State Treasurer to make distribution to the Division in the amount of its
obligation hereunder from the County's share or allocation in and to the State
Highway Users Tax Fund, as prescribed in 120-12-7, C.R.S. 1963.
6. The County will furnish and install any and all standard signs
mutually agreed upon as a result of the investigation, and shall thereafter
maintain and control such signs.
7. This agreement shall be binding upon and inurn to the benefit of the
successors and assigns of the parties hereto respectively.
8. This agreement shall not be deemed valid until it shall have been
approved by the Controller of the State of Colorado, or by such assistant as
he may designate.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused the foregoing Agreement
to be executed this Third day of February , 1971

This is to certify that at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Weld , Colorado held on February 3
1971 , the following resolution was adopted:
