SUBJECT: 2023 Concrete/Washed Rock/Squeegee, B2300086
The Public Works Department recommends that the Board of County Commissioners award the squeegee for
southern Weld County to J-2 Contracting, the sole bidder, at a price of $10.50 per ton from their plant in
Platteville. There was no bid for squeegee for northern Weld County.
The Public Works Department recommends the bid for washed rock, all Class D and flowfill for northern and
southern Weld County be awarded to Raptor Materials. They were the lowest bidder for washed rock and the
sole bidder for Class D and Flowfill. The price for washed rock is $28.00 per ton for both north and south
county from their plant locations in Greeley and Platteville. The price for Exterior and Pumpable Class D is
$162.25 per yard for north and south county and $126.50 per yard for Flowfill for north and south county.
There was no bid for Class E concrete.
A total of $270,600 is budgeted for this purchase.
