No. 1 of letter of December 13, 1971.
Strike out word "composite" , contours
are to appear only on pencil manuscript.

If selected we will fly to obtain new
photography at a nominal negative scale of
1"=1200 ' , and/or 1"=1000 ' . Compilation
and cross sectioning of the smaller scale
will be done on a Wild A-7 Autograph.

As above, for mapping scale 1"=200' .
r 1"=600 ° and/or 1"=500 ' for mapping scale
F '' of 1"=100 ° , with compilation and cross
sectioning of the smaller scale to be
done on Wild A-7 Autograph.

Coordinate system will be on State Plane
Coordinate System, and field survey will
be augmented by aeropolygon triangulation
using a Wild A-7 Autograph for supplementary
control, i.e. 6 x,y,z control points for
each stereo model.
Rebars will be placed on field occupied
1 horizontal stations , and survey control
( sketch and control tabulation will be
supplied.

"significant features" . In areas of sparse
detail, we feel this could be such items as
fences or field lines , besides roads and
I drainage. In built up areas we feel it
would be unnecessary to show every street ,
but to adopt a pattern of detail sufficient
to orient the film positive to the manuscript.
General
An index will be provided showing relationship
and numbering system, between manuscript, film
positive, and cross section overlay. There is
\ little or no adaptibility of sheet size or
\
\ uniformity of sheet alignment provided for in
\ this proposal. A preliminary layout for the
1
1 1"=200 ' scale indicates approximately 26
/ manuscripts and matching cross section overlays ,
and 49 film positives.
f- t1 N As an optional feature , if the cross section
C,°' \ overlay were eliminated, and the cross sections
i
shown on both the pencil manuscript and the
film positive, it would serve as an aide to
orientation of the sheets , and result in a cost
reduction of material as follows :
