RE: AGREEMENT BETWEEN PORTER INDUSTRIES AND WELD COUNTY
PROVIDING FOR COMPLETE MAINTENANCE AND CARE OF THE
WALTON BUILDING LOCATED ON NORTH 11TH AVENUE, GREELEY,
COLORADO, ON BEHALF OF THE WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF
SOCIAL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Porter Industries, Loveland, Colorado, has presented an
agreement between itself and Weld County, Colorado, providing for complete
maintenance and care of the Walton Building located at North 11th Avenue,
Greeley, Colorado, on behalf of the Weld County Department of Social
Services, and
WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado, is desirous of obtaining complete
maintenance and care for the Walton Building on behalf of the Weld County
Department of Social Services, and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Board of County Com-
missioners, Weld County, Colorado, believes it to be desirous and in the best
interest of Weld County to enter into the aforementioned agreement as proposed
and submitted and upon the basis recited therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Com-
missioners, Weld County, Colorado, that said agreement providing for com-
plete maintenance and care of the Walton Building located at North 11th Avenue,
Greeley, Colorado, on behalf of the Weld County Department of Social Services,
per copy attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby
is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board be, and it hereby is
authorized, to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same
effective forthwith.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3lstday of December
A.D., 197 4

The following is a bid for the maintenance and care of the Walton Building
located at North 11th Avenue in Greeley, Colorado. This is a cleaning
program that is fitted to the needs of the entire building with a schedule of
these services to meet your requirements.

Our bank reference is Roger Gunlikson, Vice-President Cashier, First
National Bank of Fort Collins, Colorado.
A certificate of our insurance, covering the bonding and the liability of all
our employees will be furnished you upon your request.
All materials and supplies are Hospital and Underwriter's Laboratory
approved and a complete list of these and their chemical specifications can
be submitted to you. All equipment, e. g. , scrubbers, buffers, vacuum
cleaners, etc. , will be new at the inception of the contract. All electrical
equipment will be three (3) wire grounded.
All work shall be done on a five day per week basis with the
understanding that any additional work performed will be
negotiated separately.
Porter Industries will supply all materials and equipment
necessary to perform all housekeeping services .
Our supervisor is always on call for emergency needs .

HOUSEKEEPING
Under Daily Services the following will be done :
1. Vacuum all carpeted areas .
2 . Empty waste containers . *
3 . Clean and polish drinking fountains using
hospital approved germicidal cleaners .
4 . Remove cup rings , finger prints , etc . ,
from glass tables, desks , counters , etc .
5. Empty ash trays , clean and polish same.
6. Clean and remove prints from glass doors
or partitions .
7 . Dust chairs , tables , desks , ledges and
flat surfaces within reach and baseboards .
8. Check and dust all stairs for litter .
9 . Dust and wet mop all tile surfaces on
main floors .
*Building will furnish bulk waste containers
or have disposal contractor furnish same.
Under Weekly Services the following will be done: -
1. Dust hard to reach areas , picture frames ,
etc . and areas not covered under daily
operations :
2 . Wash all waste baskets .
3 . Remove hand and finger marks around light
switches and door frames .
4 . Clean and oil furniture as needed .
'Under As Needed Services the following will be done :
1. Spot clean all carpeting.
2 . All carpeting will be cleaned once a year
with dry foam method or steam cleaning method .
3 . All tile areas will be cleaned and spray
buffed as needed .
4 . Wash all windows both inside and out , four
times a year .
RESTROOMS
Daily Service:
1 . Clean and disinfect all wash basins , dispensers ,
toilets , and urinals with hospital approved
germicidal disinfectant .
2. Clean all mirrors and frames . Dust and spot
wash ledges , partitions , and walls .
3 . Clean and refill all dispensers from stock
furnished by the Public Health Building and
the Walton Building .
4 . Mop floors with hospital approved germicidal
disinfectant .. •
5. Dust or vacuum all vents and fans.
6 . Empty waste containers and disinfect .
7 . Empty and separately wrap , feminine napkin
disposal unit , and disinfect .

FLOOR MAINTENANCE
All careting, besides being vacuumed daily and spot cleaned
as needed , will be shampooed at least once each year . This
will prolong the life of the carpet and enhance it ' s appear-
ance.
INSURANCE
Our insurance coverage is comprehensive , covering workmen ' s
compensation, bodily injury, and property damage liability .
_ Products liability and complete operations liability are also
covered . Certificates for the aforementioned coverage will
be furnished upon request .

. CONTRACT
This agreement shall be for the term of one year and shall continue from
year to year unless changed or modified with the consent of both parties in
writing. This agreement may be terminated by either party, at any time,
by giving ninety (90) days notice in writing, prior to the desired date of the
termination.
CONTRACT RATES
These services will be performed at a monthly rate of $1700. 00 per month.
