Re: Congressional Direct Spending (CDS) request for the City of Evans Multiple Infrastructure
Projects
Dear Senators Bennet and Hickenlooper,
The Weld County Commissioners request your support of the City of Evans' Congressional Direct
Spending (CDS) request for partnership on this disproportionally impacted community to assist in
the construction of several important infrastructure projects.
The shovel ready projects include two storm sewer projects that will mitigate flooding in east
Evans and a waterline replacement project that will replace aging waterlines that have had multiple
breaks over the past few years. CDS funding would help leverage the City's local funding to make
sure these critical infrastructure projects are completed in 2024.
Weld County supports this very important construction request and hopes you will partner with
them to improve the quality of life of Evans and Weld County residents. Thank you in advance for
