c by our veterans and their families,who play a crucial role in preserving the liberties we hold dear;and ,�4
Aq' WHEREAS,Service Officers within the Weld County Department of Veterans Services aid veterans and 1%),'
';' their families in the process of applying for VA benefits related to military service;and
s WHEREAS,the impact of this effort is reflected in numbers.In fiscal year 2022,Weld County veterans
''''\!,;:-.7,-,'''',,,,,,''''''',:' received over$202 million in funding from the VA—more than a$31 million increase from fiscal year `
�; 2021.This year,the Veterans Service Office along with the Colorado Department of Veterans Affairs I'
