SUBJECT: #B2300139 — Sheriff Office Command Unit QTY 1
The Fleet Services Department and Sheriff Office have reviewed all bids that were
received and recommends awarding the bid to Transwest Truck Trailer and RV. Transwest will
be supplying the chassis to TriVan Truck Builders of Ferndale WA. Transwest is the lowest
bidder that meets all specifications. The bid is for one 2024 Freightliner M2 Chassis upfitted
with a TriVan Command Truck Body for a total cost of $497,852.00. The low bid from
McCandless Truck center was $1,695.42 lower but does not meet the chassis spec.
