RE: ACCEPT FILING OF SERVICE PLAN AND SET HEARING DATE FOR
CONSIDERATION - FIRST FIVE YEARS EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT
SERVICE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Service Plan for the First Five Years Early Child Development Service
District, was received by the Clerk to the Board on May 9, 2023, from Lyons Gaddis Attorneys
and Counselors, Attn: John Chmil, P.O. Box 978, Longmont, Colorado 80502-0978, for filing with,
and consideration by, the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to set a public
hearing date for its consideration of said Service Plan, said hearing date to be June 19, 2023, at
9:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the filing of said Service Plan be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the public hearing for consideration of the First Five Years Early Childhood
Development Service District, be, and hereby is, June 19, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the organizers
of the proposed First Five Years Early Childhood Development Service District, have paid the
required statutory filing fee of $500.00 to the Clerk to the Board.
