Kim,
Thank you for the chance to review and comment on the above USR application. Tri-State Generation
and Transmission Association owns, operates and maintains a 345kV electric transmission line along the
west boundary of the proposed project site. It appears that the excavation will occur outside Tri-State's
180 -foot easement. I would like to confirm that. It also appears that the applicant intends to construct
an access road that will cross under Tri-State's transmission line. Tri-State requests that the applicant
execute a crossing license with Tri-State to address design, construction and use of the access road
within Tri-State's easement.
