Subject: Shooting Range Water Treatment (B2300108)
As advertised this bid is for a water treatment system for the Weld County Shooting Range. The bid was
published as a Request for Bid (RFB). Only one vendor replied to the RFB. This vendor was RK Water,
LLC.
During the review process it was determined the equipment offered in the RFB differed from what was
designed. The equipment that was bid will not fit into the space that is allocated for it.
Therefore, Facilities Department is recommending the rejection of the bid from RK Water, LLC. Facilities
will rebid the project once design consultant has provided adequately sized location for all water
treatment equipment.
