The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,met in regular session as the Housing
Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in
the Weld County Administration Building,Greeley,Colorado,December 27,2023,at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
I S ROLL CALL:The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members
were present,constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Mike Freeman,Chair
Commissioner Perry L.Buck,Pro-Tem
Commissioner Scott K.James—EXCUSED
Commissioner Kevin D.Ross
Commissioner Lori Saine—EXCUSED
Also present:
County Attorney,Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board,Houstan Aragon
Chief Financial Officer,Cheryl Pattelli
IR1 MINUTES:Commissioner Ross moved to approve the Minutes of the Housing Authority Board
meeting of November 27,2023,as printed.Commissioner Buck seconded the motion and it carried
unanimously.

Il Tom Teixeira,Weld County Housing Authority,reported 101%of the annual budget was spent,in
the amount of$4,141,000.00,and accessed their reserve funds,in the amount of$125,000.00.He stated
this provides 4,687 months of assistance for 390 families,on average.He broke down the statistics for
the housing assistance provided, and indicated these individuals would otherwise experience
homelessness.In response to Commissioner Ross,Mr.Teixeira confirmed he will send a copy of these
statistics to the Board.(Clerk's Note:See attached Exhibit A.)
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted
by the Acting Clerk to the Board.There being no further business,this meeting was adjourned at
9:03 a.m.

The meeting took place in 2023,with Commissioner Mike Freeman as Chair.These Minutes were
approved on the 22nd day of January, 2024, by the newly nominated and approved Board of
Commissioners for 2024.

Weld Housing Authority Information provide at Meeting Dec 27,2023.
For 2023 the Authority spent$4,141,883 on rent assistance which is 101.3%of its'annual budget
authority which required$125,782 from the reserves of$451,479 with a total of 4,687 months of
assistance or an average of 390 households.This provided housing for 398 households in December
consisting of 976 individuals with 416 being children and 160 seniors who receive an average social
security payment of$12,768 per year.
